About Us

The Visual Materials Section promotes communication among visual materials archivists, and represents and promotes appropriate care, management, and use of visual materials collections to the greater archival community through annual meetings, continuing education programs, publications, the VIEWS newsletter and this web site.

If you are a member of SAA and are interested in joining the Visual Materials Section, we would love to have you as a member! You can join our Section when you join or renew with SAA, or just email the SAA staff at servicecenter@archivists.org and request that they include you in the Section.

Patrick Cullom, Chair (2020 – 2021), Visual Materials Processing Archivist, Wilson Special Collections Library, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, cullom@email.unc.edu
