store, and use it in useful ways?
b. What are best practices for born digital processing?
c. How do we deal with the overlap of traditional visual images and born digital
materials in hybrid collections?
3. COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT
a. How can we address preservation, access and responsible stewardship of visual
materials from underrepresented communities?
b. Do archivists keep track of how their materials are leveraged by users and if so,
c. What about preservation reformatting and section 108 of US copyright law?

international standards such as International Image Framework (IIF)? When is
minimal processing/higher-level description possible?
5. MERGER OF VMS AND VMCAS
Should VMCAS become part of VMS, as a major working group within the VM Section,
or maybe something else? Should VMCAS leadership join the VMS leadership team on
its steering committee?
